ANDRA KOUYATÉ
In his Malian band 'Sèkè Chi', Andra Kouyaté is using traditional instruments in a modern way, inspired by jazz, blues, reggae and funk, yet sounding totally African through the intricate rhythms, the content of the lyrics and the warm energy on stage.

Andra’s first album ‘SARO’ was released by Studio Mali / Believe Digital on July 31st 2012.

With his European band Andra Kouyaté is playing his new double n’goni in combination with electric guitar, bass guitar and a standard drum kit. A powerful sound in which different grooves and influences bring a fresh approach of both old and new musical creations. 

Andra is also touring with Tiken Jah Fakoly and Deltas.
