Mehmet Polat Quartet
Mehmet Polat is known for his spectacular new approach of the ud, the Middle Eastern lute. From Africa to India, Persia to the Balkans, Contemporary to Jazz, he has been combining various musical genres with his Alevi Spiritual, Anatolian Folk and Ottoman classical music background. Together with true masters of piano, bass and drums they form a unique combination of sounds, in a dynamic and harmonious jazz setting.
